OUR WORK
ThinkOcean is a pioneering grassroots non-profit organization founded in 2017 to empower young people as the current and future leaders of our society.
We are unwaveringly committed to engaging youth and tackling the most pressing environmental challenges of our time, with a focus on championing ocean-related issues.
Over the years, ThinkOcean has expanded to become one of the world’s largest youth-led ocean action networks.

Education
At ThinkOcean, we believe that ocean education is a crucial component in addressing environmental issues. Oceans are often overlooked in many education systems, and there is a lack of adequate ocean curriculum created by young people. We strive to fill this void by developing and providing accessible, creative, and relevant ocean education content.
Our work includes:
- Curating and disseminating compelling content
- Conducting interactive webinars and workshops
- Forging partnerships with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our vision
Community Organizing
A core goal of ThinkOcean is to connect otherwise decentralized, local efforts to our global network of peers, resources, and advisors. By utilizing our extensive network, which spans across four continents, we can bring awareness to environmental issues that are not only prevalent in our own backyards but on a global scale.
Our projects have focused on:
